Outlaw Practice

How We Compare

One price against four tier ladders

Every platform below handles cases, billing, and trust accounting. The difference is what happens above the entry tier: the tools that grow a firm sit in upper plans and paid add-ons. Outlaw Practice includes them at one price.

A check means the entry price includes it; an x means it costs more, requires an upper tier or add-on, or is not on the vendor's published plans. Notes call out the details worth knowing. Vendor plans, prices, and inclusions come from each vendor's public pricing page, read on September 14, 2026; rates shown are their annual-billing rates. We re-check these pages weekly. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.

Several cells above say “call sales.” When a price needs a sales call, it is usually because the price needs selling: a high number gets a trained salesperson to soften it, and what you pay depends on how hard you negotiate. We publish one price and charge every firm the same. Our pricing, in full, is here.

Questions

Pricing, demystified

What is included in the free trial?

Every feature of Outlaw Practice, with one exception: Outlaw Payments requires a paid plan, since it involves an application to the card-processing network. Starting a trial requires no credit card.

How does per-user pricing work?

$50 per user, per month, flat. Every user pays the same price. Add or remove users whenever you like; we prorate to your existing billing date.

Are there any hidden fees?

None, unless you count state sales tax. There are no add-on modules to buy later; the one price includes every feature.

Why do some vendors say "Get pricing" instead of showing a price?

When a price needs a sales call, it is usually because the price needs selling: the number is high enough that a trained salesperson has to soften it with value talk about how much you will save. Unpublished prices also tend to vary: they depend on the conversation, and firms that negotiate harder pay less than firms that don’t. We publish one price and charge every firm the same, so the price needs no negotiating, and a demo is optional rather than a gate. The only discounts are the published programs above, available to anyone who qualifies.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) and eCheck from your bank account.

Do you offer a discount for paying annually?

No, and on purpose. Annual prepay is a bonanza for software vendors, but cash flow is king for a small firm. We would rather earn your business every month than lock up your money for a year.

Do you prorate when I add or remove a user?

Yes, on your next invoice. Add a user mid-month and the prorated charge for the remaining days appears there; remove one and the unused days appear there as a credit. Your billing date never moves.
